Thanks to the brushless motor, the Bosch GWS 18V-8 Professional cordless angle grinder offers the same powerful performance as a corded angle grinder with 800 watts. The handle can be used on the left and right, and the protective cover can be adjusted quickly and without tools. The lockable switch on the side, the soft start, the low weight and the narrow handle make operation easy and comfortable. The restart protection prevents the machine from restarting automatically and uncontrollably after changing the battery, and if the grinder suddenly kicks back, e.g. due to a blockage in the cutting cut, Kickback Control interrupts the power supply to the motor for safety reasons. The GWS 18V-8 Professional is suitable for cutting, brushing and roughing metal, plastic and composite materials, cutting and brushing stone and concrete, cutting reinforcing iron, sheet metal, PVC and tiles or deburring light metal. The required batteries are part of the AMPShare Alliance, the cross-brand battery system for professionals in trade and industry. A single battery fits all tools and machines in the blue Bosch Professional 18V system, but can also be used across brands with numerous professional tools from other manufacturers in the AMPShare Alliance. No more buying new batteries for every new tool, no more searching for the “right” battery, with AMPShare one battery is enough for all jobs.
