The ICY BOX IB-525-U3 drive enclosure is an external enclosure for 5.25" SATA drives or hard drive removable frames. Whether a DVD, Blu-ray or a CD drive is to be used, these devices will find a new home in this simple, black aluminum housing. Internal hard drive removable frames can now also be used externally. With USB 3.2 Gen 1, a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s is available, which is via a USB Type-C or Type-A connection can be made to the host computer.
