The 10 meter long USB cable 84257 from Delock establishes a connection between devices with a USB-C port and a PC or notebook with a free USB-C port. The active optical cable uses fiber optic cables to transmit high-speed signals. Compared to the traditional copper cable, it is softer, thinner, lighter and can transmit signals over longer distances without loss. The cable is suitable for connecting a USB-C monitor with a resolution of up to 8K Ultra HD (7,680 x 4,320 @ 60Hz) to a computer with a USB-C interface and DisplayPort Alternate Mode support. When connected to a docking station with simultaneous operation of DisplayPort and USB at 10 Gbps, a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 @ 120Hz is possible. The active optical cable enables data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps when connecting USB 10 Gbps compatible devices. Of course, USB 2.0 devices can also be connected. By supporting the USB Power Delivery standard, connected devices can be charged and powered with up to 60 watts (20V / 3A).
