The 2 x SFF-8654 to PCIe x16 bifurcation converter from Delock can be integrated into the system via the SFF-8654 interface and provides a PCI Express x16 slot. Various PCI Express cards can be connected to the slot. The converter supports four PCIe lanes per SFF-8654 port and therefore offers a maximum of 8 lanes. This makes it possible to use the converter with just one SFF-8654 connection, as long as the respective PCI Express card only requires a maximum of four PCIe lanes. The converter can be connected to a PCI Express card, which has the PCIe bifurcation function to provide eight lanes (x4 + x4) on the PCIe x16 slot. This means that PCI Express cards with bifurcation function can be connected to the PCI Express slot of the converter, for example. B. connect two M.2 or U.2 SSDs.
