The NF-S12A case fan marks the third generation of Noctua's classic S12 series, which has received more than 250 awards and recommendations in the international trade press. Thanks to the further developed blade geometry with anti-stall knobs and the new AAO frame (short for Advanced Acoustic Optimization), the NF-S12A achieves up to 8% higher efficiency (flow rate/noise development) compared to its renowned predecessor. The PWM version uses Noctua's specially designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin connections and is supplied with a low-noise adapter, through which the maximum speed in PWM operation can be reduced from 1200 to 900rpm. Its excellent smoothness, SSO2 reference class bearing and Noctua's proven premium quality make the NF-S12A an excellent choice for noise-optimized case cooling.
