The LogiLink AU0028A is a versatile USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA adapter designed for connecting legacy 2.5" and 3.5" IDE hard drives, SATA HDDs/SSDs, and optical drives (CD/DVD) to modern computers via USB 3.0 port. Achieving data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s, it enables fast backups, data recovery, or drive cloning without needing an internal bay or enclosure.
Featuring a male USB 3.0 connector and female IDE (40/44-pin) plus SATA ports, the black adapter includes LED indicators for power and activity status. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 and supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8. The compact design comes in retail packaging suitable for shipping.
