This custom micro-ATX system pairs an Intel Core i5-12400 with a B760 motherboard, fast Patriot P400 Gen4 1TB NVMe storage and a single 16GB DDR5-5600 DIMM for a responsive everyday and light-gaming PC. The included 750W 80+ Gold ATX 3.1 PSU gives ample headroom for future discrete GPU upgrades.
- Processor: Intel Core i5-12400 (6 cores, 12 threads) with UHD 730 integrated graphics for basic gaming and media tasks.
- Memory: Kingston FURY Beast 16GB DDR5-5600 (1x16GB) — fast DDR5 frequency but note single-channel reduces iGPU bandwidth vs dual-channel.
- Storage: Patriot P400 Lite 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 for fast boot and load times.
- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B760M-A-CSM micro-ATX with dual M.2 slots, PCIe4.0 support, and 2.5Gb LAN for networking.
- Cooling & Case: Snowman MT6 6-heatpipe air cooler (240W TDP) and Alcatroz mATX case with 2 fans. Verify cooler clearance in case specs during assembly.
- PSU: Fortron FSP VITA 750W 80+ Gold ATX 3.1 (non-modular). Note the Alcatroz case ships with a 235W PSU — this should be removed/ignored and replaced by the included 750W unit.
- Service: Full PC assembly plus OS and drivers installation included.
Upgrade notes: This build is upgrade-friendly — adding a dedicated GPU will substantially improve AAA gaming and content workloads. For best integrated graphics results, consider adding a second matched DDR5 DIMM to enable dual-channel memory (improves iGPU performance).
Performance Projections:
- AAA Games (Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield) — with UHD 730 integrated graphics and single-channel DDR5: 1080p (Low/Medium): ~25-40 FPS; 1440p (Low): ~15-25 FPS; 4K: <15 FPS (not recommended).
- High Player Count / Competitive (Warzone, Apex Legends, Valorant) — with UHD 730 integrated graphics and single-channel DDR5: 1080p: Valorant ~100-140 FPS, Apex/Warzone ~40-70 FPS; 1440p: Valorant ~80-100 FPS, Apex/Warzone ~30-45 FPS. These estimates assume integrated UHD 730 performance and will improve with a discrete GPU and dual-channel memory.
